TENNIS POLICIES & GUIDELINES IN NORTH EASTON, MASSACHUSETTS

Policies & Guidelines 
  1. There is a minimum and maximum registration for all programs and activities. 
  2.  All students/players must meet level eligibility requirements. Final placement in any Brown Billone Club program is subject to approval by an Owner. 
  3. Separate registration applications are available at the Desk or online at brownbilloneclub.com Registration applications are to be completed and returned with full payment to secure enrollment 
  4. Payment in full is required at the time of registration for all programs and events 
  5. Guarantee of payment (with credit card) is required at the time of reservation for private lessons, semi-private lessons and court time, with payment required on the day of the lesson/court time at check-in prior to going on court. The Club accepts payment by cash, check (payable to Brown Billone Club) or credit card (Visa or MasterCard). In the case of a missed payment for any program/clinic/lesson the outstanding amount will incur a late fee penalty of $15 every thirty day period.
  6. House charges are not permissible for private, semi-private or group lessons. Pursuant to Policy #5 above, lesson payment is required on the day of the lesson at check-in prior to going on court. All private and semi-lesson clients are required to have a credit card number on file (no exceptions). 
  7.  Non-Member Private and Semi-Private Tennis Lessons – There is a surcharge for non-member private and semi-private tennis lessons in addition to the private and semi-private lesson rate. 
  8. Fees are non-refundable (since enrollment is closed when full) except as noted: 
    • For medical disabilities a pro rata refund or credit, less a $5.00 processing fee, shall be given from the date the refund is requested when accompanied with a doctor's statement explaining the nature of the disability or injury. 
    • A refund or credit shall be issued for any program canceled by the Brown Billone Club (i.e. due to lack of enrollment 
    • A student asked by the club to withdraw due to not meeting eligibility requirements (i.e. NTRP) shall be issued a pro rata refund or credit. 
    • Vouchers (for a make-up or registration in another program) shall be issued for programs canceled by the club due to severe weather conditions. 
    • An Owner must approve all credits and refunds

9. A student/player is responsible for payment of the full fee for any programming, private lesson or court reservation canceled less than 24 hours in advance (i.e. credit card number will be accessed). Player making reservation is responsible for payment. Player making reservation is also responsible for any unpaid portions of court time cost. Court reservations made by outside organizations require a 72 hour cancellation notice. 
10.A $10.00 fee will be assessed for an outdoor court reservation canceled less than 24 hours in advance
11. Members participating in league play are required to pay full court fees when play is canceled due to late defaults, no shows or failure to obtain appropriate substitutes. 
12. The club retains the right to change court reservation assignments (to maximize member usage). The Front Desk will call with notification of change whenever perceived to be necessary (i.e. the change requires play in the new facility or on a different playing surface). 
13. Brown Billone Club membership is required for participation in most tennis programs and events (exceptions are noted). For all programs and services open to non-members, members retain first registration priority and priority for available pros and courts. 
14. The club extends registration priority to members re-enrolling from previous sessions. Members will be automatically enrolled into the next session unless otherwise we are notified. 
15. All group clinic and private lesson cancellations must be made no less than 24 hours in advance 
16. The club will attempt to accommodate but does not guarantee requests for group program make-ups. Approval of make-up requests depends on availability and existing class sizes. Make ups are not extended past last scheduled day of session. 
17. Members and non-members assume all risks and hazards incidental to on-court play and participation in Brown Billone Club tennis activities and/or programs and waive, release, absolve, indemnify and agree to hold harmless the Brown Billone Club and its representatives for injuries, damages or losses.
Snow Policy 

Brown Billone Club will postpone/cancel tennis classes due to developing weather conditions in Easton Clinics and Programs from Monday-Friday: 

*Before Noon clinics and programs will be cancelled. 
*After 12pm: 
Students and participants should call the Club two hours before the start of the program or clinic. On Saturday and Sunday students and participants should call the Club two hours before the start of the program or clinic. 
Privates will adhere to policy above. Tennis Professionals are individually responsible to contact their clients directly to either confirm the cancellation or reschedule such lesson.
